FAQ

Are the times accurate?

Yes. Times are calculated using the browser's Intl.DateTimeFormat API with each city's IANA timezone identifier, which accounts for current DST rules automatically.

What is UTC offset?

UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is the world's time standard. A UTC offset of +5:30 means the local time is 5 hours and 30 minutes ahead of UTC. Offsets change during daylight saving time.

How is this different from the Timezone Converter?

The World Clock shows current real time automatically with no input. The Timezone Converter lets you convert a specific time you choose between zones.
